Women's Volleyball to play Carthage in NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS -- Concordia Wisconsin will play Carthage in the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Thursday at 5:30 pm. They will be traveling to Illinois Wesleyan, who is the host of the regional.

Concordia Wisconsin (28-2) won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) regular season with an 11-0 record and then captured the NACC Tournament Championship for the second time in a row on Saturday. The Falcons' Kaily (Moegenburg) Erdman was named the NACC Player of the Year, while Janelle Katz earned NACC Coach of the Year honors. In addition, they bring a 14-match winning streak into the first round matchup.

Carthage (25-8) won the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Tournament Championship after defeating the top team in the region, Millikin, in five sets. They finished second in the CCIW regular season and boast three All-CCIW First Team and two Second Team players. The Lady Reds enter the matchup on a 10-match winning streak.
