THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
• DEFENDING THE TITLE: Wednesday night begins NACC play for all those in the league and Concordia Wisconsin is primed and ready to defend its NACC regular season and tournament titles from a season ago. The Falcons went 11-0 during the 2016 campaign and won both playoff games on its home court to earn the program's first bid to the NCAA Tournament in its history.
• 3-0, and 3-0 and 3-0: It's more of the same for Concordia Wisconsin this season, as each of its seven victories have all resulted in a final score of 3-0. Last season they won 23 matches and 17 of those ended in a sweep. During head coach Janelle Katz's tenure, the Falcons have won 59 matches by a 3-0 score or 68 percent of the time (59-of-86).
• SIX GO-TO HITTERS: Over the past several years the Falcons haven't had one go-to offensive player, which has resulted in difficulties for the opposition. This season they have six players with 36 or more kills and three with 50 or more. Amanda Schultz leads the team with 58 kills and is hitting .310 to date.
• WELCOME TO OUR HOUSE: The Falcons have made the R. John Buuck Field House a  place to envy around the NACC, as they haven't lost a home conference match in three seasons, going 17-0 since the 2015 campaign.
• OPPONENTS STRUGGLING: Opponents have struggled against Concordia Wisconsin this season, hitting just .090 in eight matches. They have failed to reach at least a .100 hitting percentage in six of the eight matches. More so, the opposition hasn't accumulated at least 100 total attacks in six matches.
