CUW Duo Competes at WashU Distance Carnival

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's track & field team had three student-athletes compete at the Washington University Distance Carnival on Friday.

The Falcons had sophomore Abby Poehlman (Hubertus, Wis.) and senior Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.), compete in the 5000-meter run.  

The 5000-meter race had 181 participants from all three levels of the NCAA and NAIA.

Yim led the flock in 72^nd place with a time of 19:03.11.

In 86^th place was Poehlman crossing the finish line at 19:18.35

The Falcons return to action on Saturday, April 6 at the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Carroll.
