Mia Andrae Claims NACC Student-Athlete of the Week Crown

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced Mia Andrae as its Student-Athlete of the Week on Wednesday morning as selected by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A junior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Mia Andrae is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.

Andrae went 4-0 last week with two victories each at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles as CUW remained undefeated in the NACC and clinched a first-round bye in the NACC Tournament. In singles play, she defeated Dominican's Julia Hochstratter (6-0, 6-1) and Lakeland's Sadie Conway (6-1, 6-1). Andrae was also paired with junior Elizabeth Johnson (Hubertus, Wis.) for a pair of 8-0 doubles wins over both the Stars and Muskies.

Andrae and the Falcons will compete for a NACC title on Saturday at Edgewood.
