Rick Budewitz named NACC Student-Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its spring Student-Athletes of the Week awards on Wednesday morning and Ricki Budewitz was named the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week in Women's Tennis.

A junior from Watertown, Wisconsin, Budewitz is claiming the title for the second time this season and the fourth time in her career.

Budewitz competed at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Wisconsin Lutheran, MSOE and Alverno. She posted a perfect 3-0 record in singles and doubles play.

This is the fourth time this season that a Falcon has claimed the title. Freshman Ashley Samuta (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) also earned the honor on March 9 and 15.

Budewitz and the Falcons return to play on Saturday against Dominican.
