MEQUON, Wis. – St. Scholastica kept the Falcons off the scoreboard on Friday night with a 3-0 victory. The Blue and White fall to 6-8-2 on the season and 5-3-1 in the NCHA with the loss. The Falcons pinked the rink on Friday against St. Scholastica in the battle against breast cancer.
The Saints scored a goal in each of the three periods.
CUW held a 26-18 advantage in shots on Friday. Sophomore Baileigh Johnson (Neillsville, Wis.), senior Sam Lombardi (Ancaster, Ont.), sophomore Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) and sophomore Sarah Tretina (Plainfield, Ill.) all had four shots.
The Falcons killed off both of the St. Scholastica power plays.
Senior Breanna Thomson (St. Marys, Ont.) had 15 saves on the night.
