Jenna Pozezinski named NACC Position Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons sit in first place in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference at 9-1. Jenna Pozezinski helped the Falcons post a 4-0 record in NACC action last week. On Tuesday morning, the NACC announced Pozezinski as the NACC Position Player of the Week for her performance behind the plate.

A sophomore from Lake Villa, Illinois, Pozezinski is claiming the honor for the second time this season, with the first coming on March 19.

Last week, she posted a batting average of .455, with five hits.

Against Lakeland, she blasted two home runs in game one.

She also posted five RBI in game two against Marian.

Pozezinski had an RBI in all four games that she played in.

This is the second-straight week that a Falcon has claimed this honor, with senior Becky Bonnin winning last week.

Pozezinski and the Falcons return to action on Tuesday at Aurora.
