Men’s Tennis Dominates Dominican

MEQUON, Wis. – It was all Concordia on the tennis courts on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons downed Dominican with a 9-0 victory to improve to 6-6 on the season and 4-1 in NACC play.

Senior Thomas Melius (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) took the first point of the day with an 8-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and senior Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) swept the Stars at No. 1 doubles, 8-0.

Junior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and freshman Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) bounced DU away at No. 2 doubles, 8-1.

Logan Snyder secured the first singles point at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Diego Martinez.

Tim Peters pounced on Joshua Sapnu at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-0.

Cole Werning sank Samual Pardinas at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-2.

Isaac Bruins swept Alex Morales, 6-0, 6-0.

Thomas Melius downed Andre Duran, 6-0, 6-2.

Nathan Bilan bounced Andre Rodriguez back to Illinois with a 6-1, 6-0 victory.

CUW closes the regular season on Sunday at Lakeland. The Falcons can secure a first-round bye with a victory.
