Saints squeak past Men’s Tennis

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons fell short in the home opener on Friday night against St. Scholastica, 4-5. The Falcons fall to 0-2 on the young season.

The Falcons earned their first point of the night with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles with Senior Nolan Rademacher and senior Logan Snyder.

Logan Snyder secured the first singles point with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.

Junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) tied the match with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles.

Senior Thomas Melius (Slinger, Wis.) gave the Falcons a 4-3 lead when he won at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-2.

The Saints finished the match with victories on courts five and four.

The Falcons look to bounce back on Sunday against Carroll.
