Men’s Tennis downs Lakeland in Regular Season Finale

KOHLER, Wis. – The CUW men's tennis team took care of business in the final match of the regular season on Sunday at Lakeland. The Falcons fried the fish with a 9-0 victory to improve to 7-6 on the year and to 5-1 in NACC matches.

Junior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and freshman Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) were the first duo off the doubles courts on Sunday with an 8-1 victory at No. 2 doubles.

Junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and senior Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) took the Muskies with an 8-1 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Senior Thomas Melius (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) beat the Muskies 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.

Logan Snyder sank Nick Larson at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0.

Cole Werning downed Aaron Smith at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-2.

Tim Peters picked on Jacob Larson with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles.

Thomas Melius reeled in Evan Vorpahl with a 6-1, 6-2 victory on court four.

On court six, Nathan Bilan beat Eric Bredlow, 6-0, 6-1.

Isaac Bruins closed the match with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Sterling Reilly at No. 5 singles.

The Falcons will be the No. 2 seed in the NACC Tournament and will host the winner of the No. 3 seed vs. No. 6 seed competition on May 6.
