Men’s Tennis Silences St. Norbert
DE PERE, Wis. – The Falcons headed north on Sunday afternoon and came back with a 7-2 victory at St. Norbert to 2-3 on the season.
The Falcons started the day with a sweep of the doubles competition.
At No. 3 doubles, the team of senior Thomas Melius (Slinger, Wis.) and sophomore Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) picked up an 8-4 victory.
The team of senior Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) and junior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) sank Gehring and Wartman at No. 1 doubles, 8-4.
CUW secured the sweep with an 8-4 victory by junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and senior Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) at No. 2 doubles.
Logan Snyder secured a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Andrew Gehring at No. 2 singles.
Thomas Melius swept Thomas Lokken at No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Joshua Klement canned David Vandenberg at No. 5 singles, 3-6, 6-4, 10-7.
Tim Peters closed the match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Charlie Vandermilen at No. 3 singles.
The Falcons will host Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday night.
