Guendel nets NACC Men's Tennis weekly honor

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Tennis junior Brad Guendel has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of February 27-March 5, the league office announced Monday.

Guendel (Greendale, Wis.) helped lead CUW to a 2-1 record over the weekend with wins coming against North Central and St. Norbert. In both of those matches, Guendel won at both No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles to help the Falcons secure non-conference wins.

In singles play, Guendel posted straight set victories against the Green Knights and Cardinals. He also partnered with James Forster, helping the Falcons No. 1 doubles team secure a pair of wins.

Guendel and the Falcons are off this week but will play five matches over five days next week on a spring break trip to South Carolina.
