Football raises money for Breast Cancer Research Foundation

MEQUON, Wis. - Concordia University Wisconsin's Football program raised nearly $1422 during the month of October, which will be given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The Falcons have raised and donated money for numerous organizations and foundations in of the last four years.

The Falcons sold pink wristbands for $3 and T-shirts for $10 during the month around the University and to family and friends. With the success and money raised, the program plans on assisting the BCRF in the years to come.

"We are thrilled with the money we raised to help the Breast Cancer Research Foundation," head coach Greg Etter said. "We have helped various organizations in past years and will continue to do so in the future."
