Nixon earns NACC weekly honor after record-setting performance

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin quarterback Aaron Nixon was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday night.

Nixon (North Prairie, Wis.) set the NACC and CUW records for passing yards in a game, throwing for 551 yards and five scores in a shootout against Benedictine on Saturday. The junior completed 41-of-65 passes in the contest and added two rushing scores on 13 attempts. He accounted for each of the Falcons seven touchdowns. He also broke the NACC record for most offensive plays in a game with 83.

The NACC weekly accolade is the first of the season and fourth of his career.
