Wenzelburger earns NACC Offensive Player of the Week honors

WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin senior Garrett Wenzelburger was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Wenzelburger (Hartland, Wis.) hauled in 11 receptions for 171 yards and two touchdowns to lead CUW to a 47-20 NACC-opening victory over Concordia University Chicago at Tomasini Stadium. The senior wide receiver scored back-to-back touchdowns midway through the game and recorded his third-consecutive 100-yard receiving game of the season.

The weekly accolade is the second of the season and career for Wenzelburger.
