Nixon wins NACC Offensive Player of the Week award

WAUKESHA, Ill. – Concordia University Wisconsin rookie quarterback Aaron Nixon was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as selected by the league's athletic communicators on Monday

Nixon (North Prairie, Wis.) made his first career start and accounted for three touchdowns. The freshman quarterback completed 72.1 percent (31-of-43) of his passes for 252 yards and a touchdown. He also led CUW with 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns, the most by a Falcons this season.

CUW (1-2, 0-0 NACC) is idle this weekend before opening NACC play against Concordia University Chicago on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at Tomasini Stadium.
