Paige Stickney Secures NACC Weekly Honor

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon. Paige Stickney was voted the NACC Offensive Player of the Week by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A junior middle blocker from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Paige Stickney is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.

On Wednesday night, she helped the Falcons break the school record in hitting percentage with a 0.800 hitting percentage of her own with 12 kills on 15 attacks. Stickney also had three blocks and a service ace against the Inferno.

Stickney also had 11 kills in the 3-2 victory over Edgewood. She hit 0.304 in the Eagles' first NACC loss of the year. The Menomonee Falls native had two service aces and a block against Edgewood.

Anna Elena Sofia Sebastio of Illinois Tech was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.

Stickney and the Falcons return to action on Thursday at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
