Women’s Lacrosse Advanced to the First-Ever NACC Tournament

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's lacrosse team posts a solid first season as a part of the NACC conference.

The Falcons finished 2-2 in NACC conference play which landed them in the third spot.  They also advanced to their first-ever NACC Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

Four Falcons were named to the All-NACC team including senior Hannah Beyer (Wayside, Wis.), junior Kat Oryszczyn (Mukwonago, Wis.), sophomore Colleen Gilligan (Colborne, Ont.), and freshman Elianna Fuchs (Brookfield, Wis.). 

Senior Mallory Gurin (Westfield, Ind.) posted 58 saves giving her a 35.8 save percentage on the 2020-21 season.

Junior Kat Oryszczyn led the Falcons in goals with 23. Her season high came in a win against Marian where she netted 6.

The Blue and White reached the 20-goal plateau twice in 2021 with a 20-4 victory against Edgewood on March 31 and a 21-4 victory at Marian on April 20.

The Falcons come back home in February of 2022 and look to build off their last season.
