2018-19 Season (Junior): Skated in all 27 games...Finished first on the team and third in the NCHA with 16 goals...Led the team with eight power play goals...Tied for first on the team with three game-winning goals...Scored one of the two short-handed goals for the team...Was second on the team with 24 points...Was third on the team with eight assists...Totaled 22 penalty minutes...Posted a +14 plus/minus rating...Took 98 shots...In the January 18-19 series with Aurora, Wanless had an identical three point/two goal/one assist stat line in each game, scoring short-handed in the opener and netting the game-winner in the finale...Named to the 2018-19 NCHA All-Conference Team.

2017-18 Season (Sophomore): Skated in all 24 games…Finished third on team with 24 points…Was second on team with 11 goals and second with 13 assists…Totaled 43 penalty minutes…Posted a +12 plus/minus rating…Scored three power-play and three game-winning goals…Fired 97 shots…Tied single-game program records for points (5) and goals (4) in a 9-1 win over Trine (February 17)…Picked up two assists in a 3-2 win over Lake Forest (November 4)… Scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-0 win over Northland (December 1)….Picked up two points in a 4-2 win over Finlandia (January 27)…Scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-0 win against Aurora…Scored two goals in a 2-2 tie in a Slaats Cup Playoff contest against St. Scholastica (February 23).

2016-17 Season (Freshmen): Skated in all 25 games...Recorded nine points...Scored three times and added three assists...Totaled 32 penalty minutes...Fired 70 shots...Recorded a career-best three points (1G, 2A) in an 8-1 win at Finlandia (November 18).

High School (Culver Academies): Lettered in ice hockey twice...J.J. O'Connor MVP in America's showcase, hosted by USA Hockey...Recipient of Eagle Expectation award...Also played for the Madison Capitals and won regionals and state two straight years.
