SEWARD, Neb. – The CUW women's basketball team opened the Concordia Invitational Tournament against the NAIA athletic scholarship-receiving Bulldogs of Concordia Nebraska.
The host Bulldogs won 100-49.
Nine different Falcons joined in on the scoring on Friday.
Senior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) led the CUW attack with 12 points.
Senior Aubrey Buchholtz (Seymour, Wis.) and senior Lindsey Smitsdorff (Coon Rapids, Minn.) both had seven rebounds to lead the flock.
The Blue and White will look to bounce back against Concordia Ann Arbor. The Cardinals are also an NAIA scholarship-receiving team.
