CHICAGO, Ill.- Falcon pitching dominated Concordia University Chicago on Saturday as CUW posted 8-2 and 8-0 wins to improve to 4-0 in Northern Athletics Conference play.

Game One

In Saturday's first game, the host Cougars battled to a 2-2 tie for the intital three innings before Steve Crook's team took control.

That 5-2 lead grew to 8-2 as the Falcons plated a single run on the fifth on pair of Cougar errors and added two more in the 7th when junior Holly Zinnecker (Roscoe, Ill.) and Landherr blasted triples.

Sophomore Jamie Schuh (Freedom, Wis.) got the win to imprrove to 5-3 on the season with a complete game performance.

Game Two

A six run Falcon fifth broke open a 2-0 pitcher's duel and ended Saturday's second game prematurely via the 8 run rule.

Senior Falcon hurler Danielle Burke (Burlington, Wis.) improved to 4-3 with the three hit shutout performance.
