Joshua Klement Collects NACC Student-Athlete of the Week Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its weekly Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Wednesday morning. Joshua Klement was voted the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week by the league's athletic communications professionals.

A senior from Muskego, Wisconsin, Joshua Klement is claiming for the first time this season and for the third time in his career. The other time he claimed the honor was March 13, 2024, after spring break, and April 4, 2021.

Klement recorded a sensational spring break with a 2-2 record in singles play and a 3-1 record in doubles action.

He secured singles victories over Anderson's Luis Guerrero (6-3, 7-5) and Wentworth's Eric Doraci (6-0, 6-0) and fought until the bitter end in losses to Rose-Hulman (4-6, 3-6) and Trine (4-6, 6-2, 0-1 [8]).

In doubles, with senior Landon Sather, the duo landed victories over Anderson (6-1) and Wentworth (6-0) at the No. 2 spot and with Ben Vorpahl for a 7-6 win against Trine at No. 3 doubles.

Klement and the Falcons open the NACC schedule on March 22 against Wisconsin Lutheran at home.
