MSOE completes sweep of Falcon men’s hockey
Ozaukee Ice Center
MSOE (2-0) controlled the puck and handed CUW their third defeat in
as many games Saturday night 5-1 at the Ozaukee Ice Center.
The visitors scored twice in the opening period and led 3-0 before
Concordia found the net via a Jonathan Smith shot midway through
period number two. CUW managed only 4 third period shots, however,
as the Raiders pulled away with a pair of power play tallies.
Penalties, a real bugaboo for Tony Hrkac's team a year ago, were
costly again as three MSOE scores came when the Falcons were
short-handed. CUW goalie Everett Devlin had 37 saves.
