Falcons Finish in 20th Place at Stout

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team completed the Wisconsin-Stout Invitational on Monday. The Falcons finished in a tie for 20th place with Marian at 681 strokes. The Blugolds won the invitational with 571 strokes.

Sophomore Grant Naumann (Oconomowoc, Wis.) had the lowest round of the day for Concordia at 77 strokes to finish in 40th place at 156 strokes.

Senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) posted a round of 88 strokes to finish in 84th place at 166 strokes.

Junior Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.) had the biggest improvement for CUW on Monday at 90 strokes to finish at 187 strokes in 114th place.

Senior Daniel Hahn (Cudahy, Wis.) improved two strokes from Sunday with a round of 91 to finish in 111th place at 184 strokes.

Junior Tyler Yaun (Rockton, Ill.) finished in 105th place at 177 strokes with a Monday round of 92 strokes.

Freshman Samuel Crain (Saint Charles, Mo.) dropped a stroke from his Sunday round and finished in 119th place at 199 strokes in the tournament.

The Falcons return to action on Oct. 11 for one last tune-up before the NACC Championships at Benedictine.
