NEWSWORTHY NOTES
• ABOVE THE CUT LINE:
Concordia Wisconsin currently sits in a tied for fifth place in the NACC standings alongside Marian with 9-7 records. The Falcons and Sabres have a two-game lead over Rockford and Edgewood. The NACC Tournament has a different format this season, with the two winners of the quarterfinal games going to the top seed for the remainder of the tournament.
• FEEDING IT INSIDE: Andrew Fratzke is second in the NACC in field goal percentage at 61.3. He has shot over 50 percent from the floor in eight of the last nine games. CUW as a team ranks second in the NACC with a field goal percentage of 47.1 on the season.
• GETTING DEFENSIVE: Concordia Wisconsin is one of the best teams in the NACC defensively, limiting the opposition to 43.2 percent, which ranks second.  The Falcons also the best in the league in 3-point defense, allowing only 29.8 percent to be made from deep on them.
• WHO KNOWS: This series between the Falcons and Eagles has been interesting over the last 10 meetings. In one game CUW needs 90 points to win (01/11/14) and over a year later it needs 76 points (02/24/15). On the other side, Benedictine won a game scoring just 63 points (12/06/14). It is anybody's guess how many points will be needed to earn a victory on Tuesday night.
• SCOUTING BENEDICTINE: The Eagles, sitting atop the NACC standings, are the best shooting team in the league at 48.4 percent. They also led the conference in assists (16.7) and blocks (4.8).
