MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin field hockey team opened the home portion of the schedule against Maryville of NCAA Division II. The Saints sent CUW to 1-2 on the year with the 6-0 victory.
The Saints held a 36-2 advantage in shots on Sunday.
Sophomore Katelyn Cardinale (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) and senior Sarita Arsham (Houston, Texas) both recorded a shot.
Freshman Parks Cawthray (Oakville, Ont.) was kept busy on Sunday with 19 penalty corners and 15 saves.
The Falcons also had four defensive saves. Sarita Arsham finished the day with two and freshman Bella Vandeloecht (St. Louis, Mo.) and freshman Leah Mouganis (Pittsburgh, Pa.) both notched a defensive save.
The Falcons open the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play on Saturday against Centre.
