Four Falcons named to the SAA 7vs7 All-Tournament Team

DANVILLE, Ky. – The CUW field hockey team competed in the Southern Athletic Association seven vs. seven Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons advanced to the Championship Finals, but fell to Centre, 0-1 and 0-2.

The Blue and White finished the day with a 2-3 record with victories over Transylvania.

CUW landed four all-tournament selections in sophomore AnnaLyssia Abela (Dearborn, Mich.), sophomore Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) recorded 29 saves, junior Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.) had one goal and four assists and sophomore Lorri Pitock (Naperville, Ill.) finished with four goals and two assists.
