DANVILLE, Ky. – The Falcons fell in their first official game of the 2020-21 season with a 2-0 loss at Centre on Sunday afternoon.
The Colonels struck with goals in the first and third quarters.
The Black and Gold held a 31-2 shots advantage on Sunday.
Freshman Caroline Slick (Spotsylvania, Va.) and sophomore Lorri Pitock (Naperville, Ill.) both had one shot on Sunday, with Slick securing the lone shot on goal.
The CUW goalies were busy on the day with sophomore Emily Binley (Suffolk, Va.) securing seven saves and junior Katelyn Fitzgerald (Wood River, Ill.) picking up six saves.
