Logan Navis Named to D3football.com First-Team All-Region
MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin football program is celebrating a historic achievement as sophomore kicker Logan Navis (Belgium, Wis.) was named to the D3football.com Region 5 All-Region First Team on Wednesday. This marks the first All-Region honor of Navis' career, and, notably, he is the first player in CUW history to earn First-Team All-Region recognition.
Navis finished a perfect 31-for-31 on extra point attempts and converted 12 of 19 field goal attempts across nine games. He successfully made at least one field goal in seven of those contests, including a season-high three field goals in both the Eureka and Lakeland games. A standout moment came against Lakeland, where Navis nailed a 54-yard field goal, setting a new CUW record and breaking the NACC record for the longest field goal, previously held by Dan Winsey at 51 yards (2010).
Navis' performance in 2024 saw him dominate the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC), leading the league with an average of 1.33 field goals per game, which ranked sixth nationally. He finished second in the NACC in field goal percentage (.632), third in scoring (7.4 points per game), and fifth in total points scored (67). With his remarkable season, Navis became the first Falcon to win a NACC major award since Austin Damaschke was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014.
This year marks the 20th annual D3football.com All-Region teams, with 1,210 players nominated nationwide, a new high for the award. The nominations were submitted by sports information directors nationwide, and the final selections were made by Region 5 sports information directors and D3football.com staff.
Players named to the All-Region teams are eligible for the prestigious D3football.com All-America Team, which will be announced on January 2, 2025.
