Acrobatics and Tumbling Soars Past Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics and tumbling team picked up its second win of the season on Thursday afternoon, topping the Adrian Bulldogs for the second time to conclude the team's spring break action.

The Falcons opened the day with 27.25 points in the compulsory event, most notably with 9.1 points in the pyramid heat and 7.1 in the toss heat.

The acro event saw Concordia pick up 21.65 points, 8.7 of which came in the seven-element heat.

The Falcons earned 25.2 of a possible 28.9 points in the pyramid event, including 9.1 in the open pyramid.

The second half of action featured an additional 23.6 points for Concordia in the toss, compared to 17.55 for the Bulldogs.

The Falcons notched 41.7 points in the tumbling event, clinching the team's second victory of the season.​​ The open pass proved to post the highest score of the event, accounting for 8.875 points on Concordia's side of the scoreboard. Due to the absence of the team event, the 139.4-113.425 score was able to represent the program's eighth consecutive victory over Adrian.

Concordia will be back in action after an extended break, set to take on the 2-1 Trine Thunder on March 24.
