Bio
Dr. Todd Swenson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine, as well as arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Swenson began practicing orthopedic surgery in 1995 and joined the Blount Orthopaedic Clinic in the year 2000. He serves as a consultant and Team Physician for UW-Milwaukee Athletics and is the Medical Director and Team Physician for the Concordia University of Wisconsin Athletics.
Dr. Swenson received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then completed an additional one year of fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Sports Medicine.
In addition to his board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Swenson holds a subspecialty certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
Dr. Swenson is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.
He is on the staff of the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin and Columbia St. Mary's Hospital-Milwaukee and Ozaukee Campuses.
