Women's Basketball Duo Earn All-NACC Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its All-Conference Teams and major award winners for the 2023-24 women's basketball season on Tuesday afternoon. The Concordia Wisconsin women's basketball team landed two All-NACC selections with Aubrey DeBauch on the All-NACC First Team and Erin Viergutz claiming honorable mention honors.

Aubrey DeBauch

A junior from Gillett, Wisconsin, Aubrey DeBauch is claiming her first All-NACC honor. DeBauch scored 366 points on the season and 184 rebounds to go with 57 assists, 32 steals and 10 blocks. She finished with three double-double performances against Colorado College and twice against Concordia Chicago. The Wisconsin native finished with a season-high 25 points at Aurora and a season-high 15 rebounds against Willamette.

DeBauch ranked sixth in the NACC in scoring at 14.08 points per game and field goal percentage at .439. She was second in minutes played at 33.51, fourth in free throw percentage at .792, eighth in rebounding at 7.08 rebounds and offensive rebounds at 2.62 and 10th in defensive rebounds at 4.46.

Erin Viergutz

A senior from Clintonville, Wisconsin, Erin Viergutz is also claiming her first NACC honor. Viergutz wrapped up her senior campaign with 280 points, 185 rebounds, 27 blocks and 17 assists. She had a career-best performance at Wheaton with 20 points and 17 rebounds. She also had a career-high four blocks at Aurora. Viergutz finished with two double-double performances against Wheaton and Marian.  

Viergutz was third in the NACC at 1.08 blocks per game, sixth in offensive rebounds per game at 3.00 and in rebounds at 7.40.

The Wisconsin native was also named the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week on Dec. 17 for her performance at Wheaton.

Edgewood and Wisconsin Lutheran split the major awards with Wisconsin Lutheran taking the Player of the Year in Sam Leisemann and Coaching Staff of the Year. Vivian Guerrero of Edgewood was the Defensive Player of the Year and Jayden Nortier was the Freshman of the Year.
