Men's Track & Field Finishes Ninth at Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's track & field team competed in a loaded Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titan Challenge on Saturday. The Falcons finished in ninth place as a team with seven points. The host Titans won with 226 points.

Senior Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Spring, Colo.) was third in the triple jump at 13.17 meters and he also reached 5.97 meters in the long jump in 26th place. Senior Isaac Zahrt (Kronenwetter, Wis.) also earned a point for CUW in the triple jump in eighth place at 12.23 meters.

Junior Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) finished 10th in the 800-meter run at 2:00.21.

Freshman Nick Taylor (West Bend, Wis.) was the fastest Falcon in the 60-meter dash at 7.76 in 14th place. He also finished 59th in the 200-meter dash at 25.80.

Sophomore Mitchel Moeller (Cedarburg, Wis.) was 15th in the weight throw at 14.88 meters and 15th in the shot put at 13.10 meters.

The 60-meter hurdles saw sophomore Bernie Van Den Heuvel (Valders, Wis.) finish in 18th place at 9.03.

Freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) clocked in at 5:18.94 in the mile run in 19th place.

Junior Colin Rerecich (Henderson, Nev.) secured a 33rd-place time of 55.83 in the 400-meter dash.

The Falcons turn their attention to the NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday.
