Men and Women Track & Field named All-Academic by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS – The Concordia University Wisconsin Track & Field programs were honored by the USTFCCCA for their performance in the classroom as both were honored as All-Academic Teams last Thursday.

To qualify as an All-Academic Team for the USTFCCCA, a team must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. A total of 294 teams qualified, 183 on the women's side and 111 on the men's side.

The Falcons Women's program posted a 3.54 GPA to earn the All-Academic honors for the 2017 season. CUW was also strong on the track, finishing second at both conference championships this season.

The Falcons Men's team qualified for the All-Academic award with a team GPA of 3.31. CUW was strong on the track and in the field as well, finishing third at both conference championships.

CUW was one of two programs in the NACC to have both the men's and the women's teams receive the All-Academic Award. Edgewood also had both programs honored, while Aurora and Benedictine earned All-Academic status on the men's side.
