Falcons Fall Short in NACC Finals

KOHLER, Wis. – The CUW men's tennis team made its sixth-straight NACC Tournament Finals appearance on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons finished the season with a 10-10 record after the 5-2 loss.

The Scarlet Hawks took the first point of the day at No. 3 doubles.

The Falcons tied the match when senior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman Peter Naylor (Lockport, Ill.) knocked down IIT at No. 2 doubles with an 8-4 victory.

Senior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and freshman Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) gave the Blue and White the lead after doubles play with an 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Illinois Tech clinched the match with singles victories on courts two, three, four and five.

With the victory, Illinois Tech claims the automatic bid for the NCAA Division III Tournament.
