Falcons clinch share of NACC regular season title

KOHLER, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin shutout another conference foe on Friday night with a 9-0 victory at Lakeland to clinch a share of the NACC regular season title.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin stayed undefeated in league play with another shutout, its sixth of the season and fourth in NACC play.
- The Falcons pairings of freshman Nolan Rademacher (Monument, Colo.) and senior Brad Guendel (Greendale, Wis.), along with sophomore Gabe Binversie (Plymouth, Wis.) and freshman Cole Werning (Watertown, Wis.) each had 8-0 victories.
- Guendel, Binversie and sophomore Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) all made quick work of their opponents by winning 6-0, 6-0.
- Sophomore Nathan Knapp (Plymouth, Wis.) added a 6-0, 6-1 win and Werning recorded a 6-1, 6-1 decision in his favor.
- Junior Peter Kloda (Morton Grove, Ill.) ended with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.

BEYOND THE RESULTS
- The Falcons have a chance to win their second-straight NACC regular season title on Saturday and the fifth in program history. The first three titles (2011, 2012, 2013) were all won outright.
- Concordia Wisconsin hasn't lost a doubles match in NACC play this season or a singles match at the No. 2 or 6.
- Binversie, Guendel and Kloda are all 7-0 in singles play during conference play.

- Concordia Wisconsin concludes the regular season with a chance to win the NACC regular season title outright with a victory at Aurora on Saturday starting at 2 pm.
