Men’s Tennis takes non-conference match from St. Scholastica

GLENDALE, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin won each doubles match before splitting singles play to earn a 9-3 win over St. Scholastica in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon inside the Paley Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons didn't take long to build a lead after winning all three of the doubles matches. They weren't easy, as the duo of sophomore Nathan Raskin (Shorewood, Wis.) and junior Peter Kloda (Morton Grove, Ill.) combined for an 8-4 win, while the other two doubles matches ended in close 8-6 decisions.
- Concordia Wisconsin took the No. 3, 4 and 5 singles contests en route to the victory.
- Senior Brad Guendel (Greendale, Wis.) had the easiest of the victories after he won 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Also, sophomore Gabe Binversie (Plymouth, Wis.) took a 7-6 (7-0), 6-2 at No. 4 singles; while Raskin picked up a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at No. 5 singles.

NEXT ON THE SCHEDULE
- Concordia Wisconsin begins its NACC portion of the schedule on Wednesday at Wisconsin Lutheran, with the match set to begin at 4 pm.
