Men's Lacrosse raising money for HEADstrong Foundation

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Men's Lacrosse program is again raising funds for the HEADstrong Foundation by growing mustaches to raise awareness for cancer research. Falcon student-athletes and coaches have been affected by cancer and they are asking the community to make a monetary donation by clicking on their team page of the HEADstrong Foundation website.

They initially had a goal of $500, but it was quickly surpassed and their goal has now changed to raise as much as possible to support cancer research.

Lacrosse Mustache Madness organizers at the HEADstrong Foundation are looking to ignite the philanthropic spirit of the lacrosse community and raise more $315,000 this year to commemorate the 315,000 American families that will be shattered by the news of cancer diagnosis over the duration of the campaign.
