HOW IT HAPPENED
- After trading buckets for the first four minutes of the game, the Falcons found themselves down 10-6 before putting together an impressive 19-0 scoring run during the next six minutes to take control. They would push their lead to as many as 21 points in the opening half of play.
- Edgewood clawed its way back to an eight-point deficit three times over the final 20 minutes of play, however, Concordia Wisconsin had an answer each time and extended the advantage back to double-figures.
- The statistics were fairly even across the board, but the Falcons 11 3-pointers and efficiency (16 assists on 29 field goals) proved too difficult for the Eagles to slow down. They also held a 34-22 difference in points in the paint.
- Senior Eric Kittel (Brillion, Wis.) led the hosts with 17 points, to go along with seven assists (zero turnovers) and three steals. Sophomores Andrew Fratzke (Winona, Minn.) and Josh Hau (Slinger, Wis.) each had 16 points.
- Sophomore Jake Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) was the fourth starter in double-figures with 14 points, to go along with nine rebounds and two blocks.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Kittel continues to get closer to the program's all-time scorer mark of 1,490 points set by Frank Yinko and he now has 1,435 points with at least three more games to play in his career.
- The Falcons knocked down double-figure 3-pointers for the 10th time this season and in those games, they are 7-3.

THE OPPOSITION
- Tyler Lemke led all players with 18 points, while McClain Steffens had nine points and eight rebounds.
