#CUWStatsInfo: Track & Field aims for strong showing at NACC meet

MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Track & Field teams are set for the 2015 NACC Outdoor Championships. The Falcons have had another strong season up to this point and will be looking for another strong finish at the outdoor championships, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran College.

CUWFalcons.com took a look at some of the numbers and other facts you need to know before the NACC Outdoor Championships get underway tomorrow morning.

SCHOOL RECORDS: On the Women's side, the Falcons have already set three outdoor records this season, two of those which were previously held by now assistant coach Samantha Stark (formerly Bloxdorf). Andrea Kassees (Waukesha, Wis.) and Marissa Krohn (Brookfield, Wis.) set new school marks in the hammer throw and javelin throw back on April 4 at the Rex Foster Invitational. Kassees tossed 41.98 meters in the hammer throw, which she has since beaten when she threw 43.62 meters on April 17. Krohn recorded a throw of 34.10 meters in the javelin back on April 4. The other school record set for the Falcons was last weekend by Karli Tatum (Milwaukee, Wis.). Tatum posted a mark of 12.29 meters in the shot put to etch her name into the record books.
