#1 Dominican ends Falcon season

The CUW volleyball season ended last evening with a NAC semi-final tournament loss at #1 seeded Dominican.

Concordia looked strong in winning the first game and owned a 24-23 lead in the second before the hosts rallied to score the final three points and turn the match around.

"They had a huge, raucous crowd and the momentum swing at the end of that second game was unbelievable," said a disappointed Coach Joe Cawley.

The Falcons finished 2009 with an excellent 21-10 overall record but "at this point in the season you need to be in sync and healthy. We were not."
