Triathlon Takes Eighth at Millikin
DECATUR, Ill. – The CUW women's triathlon team traveled south to compete in the Millikin Division III Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons finished in eighth place with 46 points. The Cardinals of North Central won the competition with 173 points.
Senior Aimee Uebersetzig (El Cajon, Calif.) led the flock in 22nd place at 1:20:39.
In 37th place was freshman Ashley Mayer (Kaukauna, Wis.) at 1:29:42.
Junior Adelyn Smith (Gleason, Wis.) secured a 41st-place finish at 1:32:16.
Junior Sara Vandermolen (Elmhurst, Ill.) rounded out the flock in 46th place at 1:51:45.
The Falcons return to action on Oct. 15 at the NCAA Regional Qualifier in Stockton, Missouri.
