Concordia Open  Andy Deloney (158) and Kyle Wilberding (126) each placed 4th to lead the Falcons.  Muskegon MI led the field with three individual champions, and

Mike Hoskins from Lawrence was named Outstanding Wrestler.

Greater Milwaukee Duals  CUW swept this year’s meet, defeating MSOE (28-15) and Carroll College (35-13).   Andy DeLoney picked up a pair of pins to pace the Falcons.

WI Collegiate Open at UW-Parkside  Kyle Wilberding place 5th at 126 lbs., and also received the Ray Larson Sportsmanship Award after the tournament.  Wilberding pinned Triton’s Juan Martinez for fifth.  Matt Fox went 2-2 on the day at 285.

CUW Duals in January  The Falcons were 3-0 on the day, defeating Lindenwood MO (36-16), Lakeland (30-9), and Carroll (41-15).   Going 3-0 on the day were:  Jeremy Fischer (142), Andy DeLoney (158), Craig Peters (177), and Matt Fox (285).

WI Private College Tournament  Craig Peters tied for the 177 lb. title in a round-robin format, and Jim Stewart won the 275 lb. title with a 4-2 win over Lawrence’s Adam Schweitzer in the finals.  Andy DeLoney (158) and Eric Wurtz (177) each took 3rd.

Lake Michigan Conference Meet MSOE won the title over CUW, but the Falcons claimed two individual titles:  Jeremy Fischer at 134 and Joel Howard at 142.  Fischer won with a 6-3 decision over Lakeland’s Marc Shuman and Howard won by fall in the finals over MSOE’s John Kraus.  Team scores:  MSOE 85.5, CUW 75.5, Maranatha Baptist 66, Lakeland College 48.5.

NCAA III West Regional  The Falcons placed 22nd in the huge 24 team field, won by Manchester College.  Jeremy Fischer went 2-2 at 134 to lead CUW.  Team scores:  Manchester 147, Augustana 105.5, North Central 90.5, Olivet 85, Thiel 73, Chicago 62, Monmouth 60, Wabash 52, Case 45, Wilmington 44, Millikin 29, Lawrence 28, MacMurray 22.5, Elmhurst 22, Lakeland & MSOE 20, Carroll & Wheaton 19.5, Waynesburg 12, Wash & Jefferson 10, Knox 5.5, CUW 5, Illinois Coll. 4.5, Rose-Hul. 3.
