2012-13 Season (Senior): Finished 6-12 wrestling at 157 lbs....Began season with an 11-5 decision win over Blake Olson (North Central College) in a dual meet (Nov. 7)...Posted a 3-2 record to earn a fourth place finish at the MSOE Invitational (Dec. 1), including a 14-6 major decision win over Brett Alfrey (Wheaton College)...Went 1-2 at the NCAA Division III West Regional, which included a 3-1 (SV) win over Thomas Dahlke (UW-Oshkosh).

2010-11 Season (Sophomore): Finished 9-10 and led team with 40 takedowns...Was team captain...Finished fourth at Northern Wrestling Conference Meet...Injuries held out Tuomi throughout the middle part of the season.

High School (Walther Lutheran): Named academic all-state...Was the Illinois State runner-up at 145 lbs. going 34-3 his senior year...Holds the school record for career wins...Was the team MVP...His career record was 126-32...Earned varsity letters in football, wrestling and baseball...Coached in high school by Bruce Tuomi and Tim Eberhard.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Barb...Has two older brothers, Matthew and Mike...Has one older sister, Sarah.
