WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Tennis team had another successful NACC season in 2015, posting a 6-2 league record. As a result, the Falcons were honored with three players who earned All-NACC selections, the league announced Friday.

Freshman Brad Guendel (Greendale, Wis.) earned one of the league's three major awards as he was named the Freshman of the Year. In addition, sophomore Trevor Budewitz (Watertown, Wis.) was named to the All-Singles Team, while Guendel and Benjamin Nommensen (Waupaca, Wis.) were named to the All-Doubles team.

Guendel posted a 5-1 record in singles play during the conference season, while he and Nommensen were also 5-1 in doubles play, while playing mostly as the No. 1 pairing. Guendel played all over the lineup during singles play, but his 5-1 mark was ninth best in the NACC.

Nommensen and Guendel played all six of their NACC matches in doubles play as the team's No. 1 pairing. In addition, Nommensen won several matches, mixing between the No. 2 and 3 singles position throughout the season.

Budewitz was the Falcons top singles player for the Falcons this season, playing all eight conference matches at the No. 1 position. In that spot, the sophomore tied for the third-best No. 1 singles record, going 5-3 in conference play.

Lee Johnson of Wisconsin Lutheran College was named the Player of the Year, while Ben Oestreich of Edgewood was named by his peers as the Coach of the Year, joining Guendel in the major awards.
