Men's Lacrosse Selected Third in NACC Preseason Poll

MEQUON, Wis. – On Monday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Men's Lacrosse Preseason Poll and players to watch for the 2025 season. The Falcons are in the hunt again for the conference title. The preseason poll consists of the NACC men's lacrosse head coaches and the sports information director for schools sponsoring men's lacrosse.

The Falcons are projected to finish in third place in a newly bolstered Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. Concordia Wisconsin tallied 231 points and one first-place vote.

During the summer, the NACC welcomed Cornell, Dubuque, Lake Forest and Lawrence into the conference for men's lacrosse.

The Spartans are projected to defend their title with 17 first-place votes and 280 points, edging out Lake Forest at 270 points and six first-place votes.

Rounding out the top five in the standings is Dubuque at 221 points and Illinois Tech at 178 points.

The NACC also introduced a new players-to-watch segment this year. The senior duo of Max Esposito (Gaithersburg, Md.) and Gio Nowotarski (Reading, Pa.) were listed as players to watch in the NACC this year.  Max Esposito claimed USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American honorable mention honors. Both Esposito and Nowotarski were voted to the 2024 All-NACC First Team, with Esposito also voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Year.
