After falling behind 6-2, Concordia (6-4 overall) rallied with 3 4th quarter tallies but it was not enough to catch Fontbonne (4-8) in a Fitting Field thriller.

CUW had the best of things statistically with a 33-20 shot differential but the visitor's Chad Meuer was outstanding in goal with 13 saves.

Michael Wyenn scored twice for Concordia while Danny Dahms, Justin Krause, and Samuel Wladyda added single tallies.

The loss dropped Jeff Roberts' first-year team to 3-3 in conference action while Fontbonne improved to 2-3.
