CUW men’s lacrosse gets a rude introduction
Springfield, OH
Host Wittenberg (4-0) welcomed CUW (0-1) to the world of collegiate
lacrosse with a 21-1 defeat on Saturday afternoon in Springfield,
Ohio.
Concordia's brand new squad held up well through the first period,
trailing just 5-0, but by the end of the second quarter
Wittenberg's lead had mushroomed to 14-0.
Cody Chassels will go down in Falcon lore as the team's first goal
scorer. His shot made it 16-1 before powerful Wittenberg added 5
late scores.
