Esports Won Another National Title in 2023

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team went out with a bang in the 2022-23 season.

The Blue and White finished with an overall record of 53-21. Three titles (Super Smash Bros, R6 Siege, and Call of Duty) competed in the Grand Finals last year.

The titles of Valorant and R6 Siege qualified for the National Esports Collegiate Conference Nationals with R6 Siege sweeping Murray State 3-0 to claim their second-straight National Title.

"It was hard to ask for a more successful season," said head coach Jack Slater. "Looking forward, we are continuing to grow as a team and adapting to a new teaching style with me as the Head Coach. We've come an extremely long way in a very short period and next season we are fully intending to come into the season with that same intensity. I can't commend the students enough for the amount of work that was put in this season. Each team went well above and beyond expectations and it really paid off. They made my first full season extraordinarily enjoyable and I know we will continue this forward movement come fall."

The Falcons eye another dominant return in the 2023-24 season.
