Anna Gong Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2023 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams on Tuesday afternoon.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Concordia Wisconsin was represented by senior midfielder Anna Gong.

A senior from Phoenix, Arizona, Anna Gong is making her second CSC Academic All-District Team. She was also selected in the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team for her success with the Concordia Wisconsin women's lacrosse team.

Gong started all 18 matches for the Falcons in 2023. She helped anchor one of the toughest defenses in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. She also added an assist in the victory over Wisconsin Lutheran.

The Arizona native boasts a 4.00 grade-point average in computer science.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
